The incident occurred at approximately 5:55 a.m. at 4002 Corder Street. According to City of Houston, the confrontation took place inside an apartment, resulting in both men shooting.
Houston Police Department's HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Stroble and Detective K. Collier reported that the officers swiftly responded to the shooting call. The Houston Fire Department paramedics transported both men to the hospital, where one was pronounced deceased. His identity is yet to be confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The other man, a 33-year-old shooter, suffered non life-threatening injuries.
