
A tragic incident occurred over the weekend on private property in East Bexar County where a 14-year-old boy, Henry Casas Jr., was killed when an SUV carrying six juvenile passengers flipped while the driver was performing 'donuts'; the rollover crash happened shortly after midnight on Saturday, according to details provided by FOX San Antonio.
The loss has left the community in dismay Casas Jr. was confirmed by his family as the victim, he is remembered as a young boy with a bright smile who enjoyed football and spending time with his sisters, KSAT details from interviews with his bereaved parents, the incident has not only taken a life but has also led to the prosecution of a 16-year-old who now faces manslaughter and injury to a child charges.
The Bexar County officials stated that alongside the casualty, another individual suffered injuries from the crash that took place at 12:35 a.m. at an area located south of FM 1346 on Zigmont Road; the group of teens in the SUV included two 17-year-olds and two additional 14-year-olds all of whom, except for the victim and one injured person, have been reported to be in stable condition, as per KSAT.
