An urgent Endangered Child Alert has been triggered in Nashville for Solomon White Jr., a 5-year-old boy reported missing under circumstances prompting considerable concern for his well-being. The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) was fast to dispatch the alert following the boy's disappearance yesterday afternoon amid an ongoing investigation by the Department of Child Services (DCS).
WSMV reports that investigators believe the boy’s mother, 31-year-old Janelle Burns, took her son while a DCS investigation was ongoing. Investigators think Burns and her son are traveling in a green Toyota RAV4 SUV with Tennessee license plate 307-BMDH.
Authorities are urging the public to report any sightings of Burns and her son. The Metro Nashville Police Department posted on X, asking anyone who sees them to call 911 or 800-TBI-FIND.
