
A tragic incident unfolded last night when a 27-year-old woman was struck and fatally injured by a vehicle along the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Donegal Township. The collision occurred at around 11:30 p.m. near mile marker 90.8 on the westbound side of the highway. WPXI reported that a Westmoreland County 911 supervisor confirmed the incident, noting that the coroner had been called to the scene.
In a separate yet related report, it was indicated that a tractor-trailer struck the victim. According to the TribLIVE, this incident happened near mile marker 91, near the Donegal interchange.
