Moore Square is gearing up for the holiday season, inviting the community to a festive celebration complete with live performances, games, and seasonal treats. The event, set to take place on December 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., promises an array of activities for the whole family, including food trucks with a plethora of noshing options, craft beer to suit every palate, and heartwarming mulled wine to shake off the winter chill. A special appearance by Santa Claus is also on the schedule, offering a perfect photo op and the chance for kids to share their holiday wishes.
In the spirit of giving, caroling teams will take the stage in a competitive sing-off designed not only to entertain but to benefit the Wake Tech Community College Foundation’s Fostering Bright Futures Program, as per the City of Raleigh.
This program provides essential support to students who are exiting the foster care system, aiming to brighten their futures through education—attendees will find themselves wrapped in the warmth of community spirit as their contributions help to bolster an initiative that directly impacts local youth in need.
