Chaos ensued on the streets of Milwaukee as a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Sherman and Meinecke left five people injured yesterday. FOX6 News reports that at around 3:20 p.m., a stolen vehicle attempting to escape from another vehicle firing shots, slammed into two cars after running a stop sign, resulting in one vehicle rolling over.
According to CBS 58, the driver of the fleeing vehicle abandoned it and fled on foot. While in the car that ended up rolling, a passenger of the stolen vehicle was arrested and later received medical attention for non-fatal injuries. As the chase unfolded, the Milwaukee police have indicated that they haven't yet located any shooting victims and the search for the driver who fled on foot continues.
Those involved in the incident were quickly attended to, with four individuals from the two other vehicles being transported to a hospital as they suffered non-fatal injuries, as detailed by the initial FOX6 News report. The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office is expected to receive criminal charges in relation to the case.
