
Residents of Fort Collins who have been eagerly awaiting an opportunity to voice their concerns, share ideas, and engage directly with city leadership, the moment is on the horizon, Councilmember Melanie Potyondy is opening the floor. According to the City of Fort Collins, Potyondy will be hosting an informal community listening session early next month.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 8, from 10 to 11 a.m., the event is poised to be a conduit for constituents to bring forward the pressing issues they feel need attention from city officials, and it's all taking place in the Council Information Center Conference Room at City Hall, 300 Laporte Ave. Building A, Fort Collins, CO 80521, anyone with a stake in the future of the city is encouraged to attend and engage in the discussions that shape the habitat they inhabit, work, and foster futures in.
While the listening session promises an ear from the council member, the issues at hand are vast and diverse, with residents concerned about everything from infrastructure, and environmental protection, to local economic growth. As such, Council member Potyondy’s office is signaling that every voice is valuable, "All residents are invited to attend and share ideas about the issues facing Fort Collins," as noted by the City of Fort Collins.
