Early this morning, a shooting in Columbus' south side left four individuals hospitalized, marking another violent episode in the city's recent history. FOX28 Columbus reports that the shooting took place around 3:30 a.m. on the 1700 block of Parsons Avenue in the Vassor Village neighborhood.
Details about the incident remain scarce, but according to NBC4i, witnesses described a large group of people inside the building when the gunfire erupted. The violence broke the stillness of night, unraveling the weave of safety in the community fabric. All victims were reportedly taken to area hospitals and are in stable condition, including a fourth individual who arrived independently at the hospital after being wounded.
The Columbus Division of Police responded to the chaotic scene and, upon their arrival, found four people suffering from gunshot wounds. While the police have not identified suspects, they urge anyone with information to come forward.
