This employment gathering, notably held at the NRG Center Hall E from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., is about bridging the gap between military service and the civilian workforce.
An opening ceremony to kick off the job fair is scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Following that, attendees will have the chance to earnestly engage with a range of employers, from local businesses to national brands and veterans service organizations. Slated for the coming Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall B, the event shines a spotlight on both veterans and their spouses in need of new career paths. As Fox San Antonio reports, companies eager to welcome veterans into their ranks include Holt Group, Toyota, U.S. Border Patrol, Department of Public Safety, and the City of San Antonio itself.
FREE parking will be available for the Houston event in the NRG Park red lot, off Kirby Drive, aiming to make the experience as hassle-free as possible for participants.
