Houston police are in the midst of an investigation following a fatal shooting that left one man dead last Saturday afternoon at an apartment complex located at 8125 Mills Road. The incident, which occurred around 2 p.m., prompted a swift response from HPD patrol officers who discovered the man, unresponsive, with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Tragically, despite Houston Fire Department paramedics arriving on the scene, the individual was pronounced deceased, according to a recent release by the Houston Police Department.
With the identity of the victim, a 32-year-old man, still awaiting verification from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, detectives from the HPD Homicide Division, J. Caten and M. Barrow, are leading the investigation. According to witness descriptions, wearing a black hoodie and black pants, the suspect is described as a black male in his 20s to early 30s.
