A woman in her mid-50s was discovered deceased on a northeast Houston street Sunday night, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances of her untimely demise. According to Click2Houston, a neighbor returning from work stumbled upon the body in the middle of McClelland Street and Chase Street and promptly reported the discovery; when law enforcement officials responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m., they confirmed the woman had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
