A recent investigation is underway following an incident on the roads of Houston, as authorities delve into the circumstances leading to a fatal crash that claimed the life of Wilber Fuentes Canales, aged 33. The accident occurred at approximately 2:05 p.m. at 1500 Antoine Drive on Sunday, according to the Houston Police Department.
The details available reveal that Fuentes Canales was behind the wheel of a black Honda Civic, heading northbound near the aforementioned location when he seemingly lost control of the car, his vehicle veering off course and colliding with a tree positioned in the center median, this incident resulted in immediately fatal consequences. Responders from the Houston Fire Department arrived at the scene and pronounced Fuentes Canales dead at the site of the crash.
Sergeant V. Vo and Officer D. Ortega from the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division are currently leading the investigation.
