A troubling incident occurred Thursday night in Ingram, where a man was attacked at gunpoint outside his home. Allegheny County and Ingram police are investigating, as reported by WPXI. Thuk 'Kevin' Pham was identified as the victim of the shooting, which occurred shortly after he entered his garage, accompanied suddenly by three men intent to disturb him violently.
According to Pham's account, the situation escalated quickly as one of the assailants pointed a gun at him while another proceeded to tackle him to the ground. "I got blindsided, just three guys randomly walked into the garage with me," he explained. His efforts to defend himself led him to retreat into his home to grab his firearm as the attackers fired multiple shots, all missing their target. This sequence of events was captured by Pham's home security system, which showed the assailants firing multiple shots not only at Pham but into his backyard, as detailed by WPXI. Neighbors reported hearing the gunfire and responded quickly by alerting authorities to the scene.
While Pham was unharmed, the attack took place with his family—including his wife and three children—inside the home. Pham's reaction following the initial confrontation was steadfast. "I was not scared. I wanted to go get them back," Pham recounted in a statement reported by WPXI. "I wasn’t going to get shot in the back or get beat up in my own garage or not be found later on." The assailants remain unidentified, and Pham has since provided photos of the individuals to the police to aid in their investigation.
