A tragic accident in Cecil County this past weekend has taken the life of a Harford County resident. The Cecil County Sheriff's Office reported that Nicole Ann Sunderland, 46, of Joppatowne, was involved in a single-vehicle collision in Chesapeake City. According to WBALTV, the crash occurred around 4:19 p.m. last Saturday, when Sunderland's car struck a parked vehicle before colliding with a guardrail on Lock Street near Back Creek.
Emergency responders pronounced Sunderland dead at the scene of the accident. Authorities are now seeking to understand the circumstances of the incident fully and have asked the public to come forward with any pertinent information.
