
The Los Angeles Police Department is actively seeking information on two drivers involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a downed motorcyclist in Northridge last month. As reported by KTLA, the motorcyclist, a man in his early 20s who has not been named, was traveling east on Devonshire Avenue at a high rate of speed on the evening of October 17 when he ran a red light at Louise Avenue, crashed into a northbound vehicle, and was ejected into the roadway. Police stated that shortly after the collision, two westbound vehicles, described as a white SUV and a white sedan, struck the motorcyclist and fled the scene without offering assistance or identifying themselves.

Authorities have released a blurry video showing the incident and shared images of the suspected vehicles. A monetary reward is being offered for information leading to the identification and capture of the individuals responsible for the hit-and-run. "A reward of up to $50,000 is available for information leading to the drivers’ apprehension or resolution through a civil settlement," as per KTLA.
