Last week, a fatal collision claimed the life of a driver at the intersection of S. Hualapai Way and W. Flamingo Road in Spring Valley. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident occurred on Wednesday last week, when a 2024 Toyota Prius and a 2024 Buick Encore tragically collided.

The incident occurred when a Prius attempted a U-turn into the path of an oncoming Encore, which struck the Prius and caused it to overturn.
