A Tokay High School teacher has been taken into custody on charges of engaging in sexual activities with a minor. Sean Sorbera, 23, an English teacher at the high school, is alleged to have had unlawful intercourse with an individual younger than 16 years of age, as stated by the police department. The investigation, which is still active, prompted the Lodi Unified School District to place Sorbera on administrative leave as soon as the allegations emerged.
The suspect was arrested at approximately 3:30 p.m., although officials clarified that the incident did not occur on school premises. According to ABC10, the alleged crime happened off-campus.
