A tragic occurrence unfolded in northwest Harris County when authorities found a woman who was fatally stabbed. The incident was promptly reported by Click2Houston yesterday, indicating that a man, the alleged assailant and husband of the victim, is now in the hands of the law.

The call that drew deputies to the site on Klein Meadow Drive stemmed from a reported family disturbance. In a statement that was obtained by Click2Houston, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez of Harris County shared details of the grim discovery. Officers identified the woman, though her name remained unreleased, as having been "allegedly by her husband" murdered, as per Sheriff Gonzalez’s X update. The suspect was found and subsequently detained at a gas station within the Klein area.

Further details regarding the case were scarce at the time as the constable's office and other officials continued their investigation. A confirmation of the arrest came via X from Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman, in which he requested the public to "Please keep her family and loved ones in your prayers."

Meanwhile, KHOU 11 also reported on the case, noting that the stabbing occurred near Bammel North Houston Road and that the suspect was apprehended at a nearby gas station on Spring Cypress Drive.
