A fatal shooting claimed the life of a man on Shelby Drive in the neighborhood of Whitehaven late Wednesday night. The Memphis Police Department confirmed that they received a call just after 11 p.m. and upon arrival at the 200 block of East Shelby Drive, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound. According to WREG, the individual was transported in critical condition to Regional One Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
