A fatal incident unfolded in Northeast Baltimore when a pedestrian, a 43-year-old man, was hit by a vehicle on Belair Road. According to Fox Baltimore, the collision happened roughly before 8:30 PM last night.
Baltimore Police were called to the 6600 block of Belair Road, responding to the accident. Once on the scene, they found the man had been attempting to cross the street when he was struck by the vehicle. He succumbed to his injuries after medics arrived to offer emergency care, officials said in a statement, as reported by Fox Baltimore.
The driver stayed on-site and cooperated with authorities while the pedestrian was pronounced dead, highlighting the persistent dangers pedestrians face.
