A man was slashed on his arm at the 42nd St.-Bryant Park subway station during this morning’s commute, according to the NYPD. The incident took place around 9 a.m. on the northbound M train platform following a verbal dispute, as reported by NBC New York.
The 20-year-old victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made. The suspect fled on a northbound M train, and police are still searching for the attacker, according to PIX11 News.
The NYPD is reviewing evidence and CCTV footage to identify the attacker and has called for any information from the public as the investigation continues.
