
Early yesterday morning on a Brooklyn subway platform, violence erupted, leaving one man injured and two suspects on the loose.
According to abc7 New York, the altercation took place just before 6 a.m. at the Bay 50th Street Station along the northbound D Train line; a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen during the dispute, though the cause of the disagreement remains unknown.
The confrontation left the victim hospitalized in stable condition. As reported by the New York Post, police confirmed the stabbing victim was hospitalized at NYU Langone Hospital and detailed that "it was a dispute that escalated into a fight." While the assailants fled and remain at large, authorities are searching for two men, one described as wearing a grey sweatshirt, though the pre-dawn darkness has limited details.
