Residents of Northeast Memphis faced a disturbing encounter as three armed men were filmed attempting to break into a home in the 1000 block of Galahad Cove on a Wednesday morning. According to Action News 5, the Memphis Police Department has shared the surveillance video with the public, urging anyone with information to come forward.
The footage, captured around 10 a.m., vividly displays the trio, all donned in black hoodies and masks, exiting a gray sedan and approaching the house. Despite their clear intent to forcefully enter the home, the suspects decided to quickly leave the scene when an HVAC service van unexpectedly arrived. Descriptions taken from the video highlight one suspect brandishing an AR-15-style pistol while another held a handgun with a high-capacity 30-round magazine. In a social media plea for assistance, the Memphis Police Department described the suspects in greater detail, revealing specifics about their attire, such as black and white tennis shoes and a white T-shirt worn by suspect #2.
