A Middle Tennessee man has been apprehended in Minnesota on charges related to the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile. According to Fox17, agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) initiated their inquiry into the accusations on September 4. Their investigation led them to Joseph Maynard, a resident of Millersville, who allegedly made sexual contact with the juvenile at a home in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, back in July.
The TBI's investigation ensued to swiftly bring an indictment against Maynard, with a Robertson County Grand Jury charging him on October 17 with one count each of sexual battery, rape, and aggravated statutory rape, as WKRN reports. On the trail of these charges, Maynard was eventually arrested by the U.S. Marshals in Wells, Minnesota on November 14.
Following the arrest, Maynard was extradited to Tennessee, where he was booked into the Robertson County Jail last Sunday. This update was shared by TBI's social media post, confirming the indictment and subsequent apprehension of the suspect in connection to the allegations of rape against a juvenile.

No further details regarding the case have been openly released at this point. The TBI has remained largely silent beyond confirming the indictment and arrest—information made available to the public thus far. Maynard stands accused in a case that continues to unfold, as Tennessee authorities seek to thoroughly investigate and prosecute the alleged crimes perpetrated against a minor.
