A tragic incident unfolded on the north side of Milwaukee yesterday, as reported by multiple sources. A 4-year-old child gained access to a firearm and unintentionally shot a 9-year-old, sending the older child to the hospital with injuries expected to be survivable. CBS58 reported that the event occurred at an apartment complex on 75th Street, just north of Brown Deer Road, around 4:45 p.m.
In connection with the shooting, two women, aged 27 and 22, have been taken into custody by the Milwaukee Police Department, as mentioned in a separate account by FOX6 News. Having obtained a gun, the 4-year-old child, in a grave mistake, unintentionally discharged it, injuring the 9-year-old victim.
