According to CBS 58, the call came in around 1:45 a.m., prompting a response from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, Milwaukee police, and fire officials.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death after a victim was found with four gunshot wounds. Local resident Lois spoke to WISN 12 News, saying, "That's, that's heartbreaking. It's really heartbreaking I have an 18-year-old. So I feel sorry for the parents," expressing concern over the increasing violence in the area. Octavius Crockett, a boy who walks through the park daily on his way to school, told, "I was very surprised and shocked. Like someone actually got killed here. I mean, they came around here with guns all of the time like that, but I ain't think they was actually gone fire 'em off like that."
