A Milwaukee man, identified as 37-year-old Antonio Randolph, has been arrested and is facing charges for the repeated rape and confinement of a 13-year-old girl. According to a WISN report, Randolph allegedly met the minor at a north side gas station before taking her to a basement on his grandmother's property, where he is charged with sexually assaulting her multiple times.
As reported by WISN, the criminal complaint notes that while the girl was "free to walk around but confined to the basement," the nature of her confinement calls into question the very essence of freedom in such a harrowing context. As per FOX6 news article, the atrocious acts took place after Randolph and another man met the runaway victim on November 18 at a gas station at 50th and Lisbon, leading to assaults in a nearby home at approximately 46th and Lisbon.
In what appears to be a crime compounding upon itself, Randolph is charged with one count of Repeated Sexual Assault of Same Child, with at least three violations of 1st Degree Sexual Assault, and another count of the same charge. This information was first reported by TMJ4, which attended the court hearing where the Milwaukee County Circuit Court Commissioner Barry Phillips expressed a sentiment all too common in the halls of justice: "After 32 years you think you would’ve seen everything, talking about myself, and then something happens to let you know you will never see everything."
The series of events leading up to Randolph's arrest began with police responding to a call about a person with a gun at a Milwaukee gas station. Upon arrival, officers found several people arguing, and Randolph "bloodied and battered." In a testament to the tangled web of circumstances, he referred to the 13-year-old girl present as his "female friend," who disclosed to police that she had run away from home—a detail that eerily echoes the vulnerability exploited by predators. As mentioned in TMJ4 coverage, it was this chaotic scene that set the stage for unraveling the allegations against Randolph.
