The Modesto Police Department has issued an alert and is requesting the public's assistance in locating Richard Bargas, an 81-year-old man reported missing last night. The senior citizen departed from his home near Ustach Park in northeast Modesto at around 5:50 p.m. and has not been observed since. The police consider Bargas at risk due to his age and certain medical conditions he is living with. He was last seen wearing a dark 49ers hat, dark sweatshirt, and dark sweatpants. According to police, there are currently no known destinations where he might be heading. However, he is known to frequently visit the Oakdale and Sylvan areas. This is the first time Bargas has been reported missing. The Modesto Police Department shared these details in a social media post to raise public awareness and quickly gather any information.
