In an unusual turn of events for Moon Township, local police have found themselves in pursuit of the owner of a rogue pair of pigs. The pigs, strolling through the neighborhood for several days, became subjects of local curiosity and police concern. One of the pigs was captured yesterday on North Flaugherty Road, prompting police to post a photo of the roaming swine on their Facebook page, as reported by Audacy.
It appears that seeing the black pig on Brodhead Road, one commenter identified the animal while browsing the post. The police now are reaching out to the community, seeking assistance in locating the owner of these animals to ensure their safe return. According to a separate report from WPXI, this piggy escapade is not limited to a single porker. This was a duo of pigs seen trotting together before one's capture.
Moon Township's police have asked the pigs, whoever may have information about the owner, or if the owner themselves catches wind of this notice, to contact them at 412-262-5000.
