
A fatal collision has claimed the life of a Morley man early on a Montcalm County highway. The crash, which occurred on M-46 near Hillman Road, involved a westbound pickup truck and a sedan, according to reports from FOX 17.
The incident happened when a Dodge Ram van, driven by a 30-year-old male from Remus, struck a deer and consequently crossed into the oncoming path of a Chevrolet Impala. The collision resulted in the death of the Impala's 44-year-old driver, a resident of Morley. The pickup driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the head-on crash that occurred around 5:19 a.m. last Friday. The Michigan State Police from the Lakeview Post is handling the ongoing investigation.
