
A major traffic collision involving a solo motorcycle took place in Petaluma yesterday morning, leading to critical injuries for the rider. The Petaluma Police Department reported that around 8:05 am, officers and fire department personnel responded to the incident on Petaluma Blvd North, just south of Oak Street. A blue motorcycle had collided with a fixed pole, and the 41-year-old male rider was found injured on the roadway.
According to the Petaluma Police Department, the motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition. The preliminary investigation suggests no other parties were involved in the crash, and there appears to be no evidence linking the use of drugs or alcohol to the accident.
