
A recent shootout in the Memphis neighborhood of Frayser has resulted in several arrests, as gunfire disrupted a quiet afternoon and left two people wounded. According to Action News 5, the chaotic scene unfolded around 2 p.m. on November 2, when a skirmish escalated into a violent confrontation with multiple individuals returning to the area with firearms, the police reported that the shooters targeted a home with eight people inside and during the exchange, a resident of the house fired back.
Among the individuals charged in the shooting are a 14-year-old boy and 22-year-old Jeremiah Walls, both of whom suffered gunshot wounds and were later treated at Regional One Hospital, in their statements, FOX13 Memphis also noted that the 14-year-old is facing eight counts of aggravated assault, whereas Walls's bond was set at $500,000.
The authorities have also indicted 19-year-old Daequan Walls who faces severe charges, according to Memphis Police Department est.1827's social media post, the issued warrant on November 5, 2024, includes eight counts of attempted first-degree murder and the employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, this development highlights the ongoing investigation as officers piece together the events of that November afternoon.
