The coordinated effort, involving the Nevada County Sheriff's Office and CalFire NEU, successfully contained the blaze early this morning, though crews remained on-site to monitor the situation and address any flare-ups. Residents were reminded by the fire department to view fire not just as a seasonal threat, but as a year-round responsibility.
