A new café, Lucky Tree Café, is set to open at Moore Square Park in downtown Raleigh. The café will offer coffee, baked goods, beverages, and vegetarian food. Its opening aims to attract more visitors to the area and contribute to the vibrancy of downtown Raleigh, according to the City of Raleigh.
"The City’s goal in establishing a café at Moore Square is to boost foot traffic, which increases the vibrancy of downtown." The addition of Lucky Tree Café within this historic square is part of the city's effort to create a more welcoming and active environment for both residents and visitors, as reported by the City of Raleigh.
Moore Square has been an important part of Downtown Raleigh since 1792. It’s a popular spot for a variety of events, including music festivals, markets, movie nights, and cultural celebrations. With the addition of Lucky Tree Café, visitors can now enjoy a café experience while spending time in the park. “Come for the events, the history, and the beautiful green space—and stay for the new café experience,” says the City of Raleigh.
