
The New York City Police Department is seeking information regarding a sexual abuse incident that occurred on a Queens bus last week. According to a Facebook post from NYPD Crimestoppers, the altercation took place last Friday within the jurisdiction of the NYPD 103 Precinct, aboard a Q8 MTA bus near Sutphin Blvd and 94 Ave.
The report outlines a harrowing encounter where a 17-year-old female was victimized by an unknown assailant. The perpetrator is alleged to have "forcibly touched her & pulled the victim down onto his lap before he fled the bus on foot," described in the aforementioned NYPD Crimestoppers post. The police have since been attempting to gather further evidence and are urging anyone with information to come forward, offering a reward of up to $3,500.
The authorities are emphasizing the importance of community collaboration to aid in the capture of the assailant.
