
The NYPD is reaching out to the public for assistance in apprehending a suspect involved in a recent shooting in Queens. The incident occurred near Archer Avenue and 153 Street, where an individual reportedly fired a gun and injured an 18-year-old male.
According to a Facebook post from NYPD Crimestoppers, the shooting took place and resulted in the victim sustaining a wound to his left shoulder. In their quest to locate the assailant, the NYPD is urging anyone with information to step forward, noting, that there could be a reward of up to $3,500 for details that lead to an arrest.
Authorities have not yet identified a suspect and have asked that tips be submitted anonymously either by calling the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or by visiting their website. The NYPD has underscored the importance of community collaboration in solving cases such as this one, emphasizing the role of citizens in bolstering public safety and bringing perpetrators to justice.
