The New York Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man accused of forcible touching in Central Park, an incident that occurred on the C train near Central Park West and West 81 Street. According to a Facebook post issued by NYPD Crimestoppers, the incident took place on Tuesday, and involved a 24-year-old female victim.
The report details that the suspect, whose image has been circulated online, allegedly approached the young woman and proceeded to inappropriately touch her thigh and buttocks.
NYPD20Pct is actively pursuing leads and has called for witnesses or anyone with information related to the case to come forward, reminding the community that there is a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to an arrest.
