The crime took place on November 14, according to a Facebook post from NYPD Crimestoppers. The young victim was reportedly walking near the intersection of Main Street and 39 Avenue when she was approached from behind by the suspect riding a two-wheeled vehicle, who then proceeded to touch her buttocks inappropriately.
While the identity of the suspect remains unknown, authorities are turning to the public for assistance, offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to an arrest.
