
The New York City Police Department has issued a public appeal for information regarding a robbery that occurred on Thursday at the Grand Avenue subway station in Queens. Two unidentified individuals are wanted for forcibly stealing property from a 55-year-old man after placing him in a chokehold. The attack took place shortly after 9:00 p.m. as the victim exited a northbound 'R' train onto the mezzanine level of the station, according to an NYPD Crimestoppers Facebook post.
The NYPD Crimestoppers took to social media to disseminate the wanted notice, detailing the events of the crime and offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to an arrest. The exact nature of the stolen property has not been disclosed.
