
The New York Police Department is actively searching for a suspect involved in a fatal stabbing that occurred early last week in Brooklyn. The NYPD Crimestoppers posted on social media seeking information on Lewis Aranguren, who is wanted in connection with the homicide that took place on Tuesday at approximately 8:45 a.m. near Flushing Ave and Steuben Street, by Steuben Park. According to the NYPD Crimestoppers Facebook post, Aranguren is accused of stabbing a male victim, leading to the victim's death.
The NYPD is reaching out to the community to help track down Aranguren. Officials have urged anyone with information to come forward and contact them at 800-577-TIPS. As an incentive and to encourage witnesses to step forward, they are offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information that could lead to an arrest.
Police have not yet released details regarding the circumstances that led to the stabbing or the identity of the victim.
