A 37-year-old woman from O'Brien died in a single-vehicle crash in Columbia County, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol yesterday. The accident occurred around 4:25 p.m., near the intersection of SW Callahan Avenue along State Road 247. The victim was driving a silver SUV southbound when her vehicle veered off the road, First Coast News reports.

In the course of the accident, the SUV collided with two traffic signal supports and subsequently made its way onto private property before hitting a tree. The crash report from the Florida Highway Patrol further indicated, the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident. The woman was then transported to HCA Lake City Hospital, where she was pronounced dead,
