The Oklahoma National Guard Museum is set to host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony. As reported by Tahlequah Daily Press, the ceremony will take place in Oklahoma City at the museum located at 2145 N.E. 36th St. on Monday, commencing at 10 a.m.
The Oklahoma National Guard Museum will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for observances honoring veterans. Brig. Gen. Robert H. Walter, assistant adjutant general for the Oklahoma Army National Guard, will deliver the keynote address. Walter, who began his military career in 1993, has served in operations such as Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, according to a publication from OKC FOX.
Parking for the event is limited at the museum, but overflow parking is available at the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety facility across Northeast 36th Street. This arrangement ensures attendees will have a place to park while honoring the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, as mentioned by Tahlequah Daily Press.
