
A tragic shooting in north Columbus has left one person dead, as reported by local authorities yesterday evening. WBNS News indicated the incident occurred just before 8:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of North 4th Street, a residential area close to the Weinland Park neighborhood and near Weinland Park Elementary School.
After receiving the report of the shooting, officers from the Columbus Division of Police swiftly responded to the scene. The victim, an adult male as identified by a sergeant and later confirmed by dispatchers, was rushed to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. However, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 9:10 p.m., as detailed by both NBC4i and FOX28 Columbus.
