In a move aimed at reshaping waste management in Orange County, Bowerman Power is collaborating with OC Waste & Recycling (OCWR) on a venture to establish a Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) production plant at the Frank R. Bowerman (FRB) Landfill. According to the City of Irvine, the Bowerman Power RNG Plan Project will focus on converting previously flared landfill gases into RNG, thereby supporting both local sustainability goals and statewide programs to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
