Authorities are currently investigating a fatal shooting that took the life of 20-year-old Caron Means yesterday afternoon in Pikesville. According to the Baltimore County Police Department, the incident occurred in the Unit Block of Hawthorne Ave., within the jurisdiction of the Pikesville Precinct, as officers were called to the scene at about 2:45 p.m.
First responders found Means with a gunshot wound and rushed him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. While police believe the incident was isolated, they have not shared details about a suspect or motive.
The Baltimore County Police Department has not yet made any arrests in connection to the shooting. They urge anyone with information to come forward to help with the investigation, which aims to uncover the events leading to this act of violence and prevent similar incidents.
