The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) described the situation as a plane that had just taken off was forced to make an unusual return, ultimately landing in the airport's grassy area.
According to FOX 26, the Harris County Sheriff's Office confirmed the report, and Sheriff Ed Gonzalez noted, reassuringly, that there were no injuries.
Following the incident, Texas DPS has taken the helm of the investigation, seeking to uncover the nuances that led a seemingly routine takeoff to veer into a state of urgent improvisation. While DPS declared the cause to be a "minor issue" post-takeoff, the specifics of the event remain under scrutiny, as per ABC13.
