A tragic event unfolded in Plano, Texas, this week when a young life was cut short in a traffic accident. The Plano Police Department shared the heartbreaking news through a social media post, calling for prayers for all involved.
The incident, which involved a 15-year-old Vines High School student, took place on Wednesday evening, around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Roundrock Trail and Landershire Lane. The student was riding a dirt bike, which unfortunately did not have a headlamp and was not appropriate for public roadways. After crashing into the front of a stationary truck, the teen was urgently transported to a local hospital by Plano Fire-Rescue personnel, only to be pronounced deceased.
In the wake of the accident, the identity of the young student has been withheld due to his age.
