Post Malone, known for his genre-blending style, has officially announced his upcoming "Big Ass Stadium Tour," which will include a performance at Ford Field in Detroit on May 18, 2025. He won’t be performing alone; he’ll be joined by Jelly Roll, the rapper-turned-country artist, and singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrell, who is also set to perform, according to Detroit Free Press.
The Detroit News reported that tickets are set to go live at noon next Tuesday via Ticketmaster, while Citi card holders can snag their tickets starting at noon today. Post Malone's fan can already register to get a shot at the presale tickets starting at 9 a.m. on Friday.
As pointed by Detroit Free Press, the tour is set to start in Salt Lake City on April 29 and will wrap up in San Francisco on July 1. Post Malone's last gig in the Detroit area was back in 2023 at Pine Knob Music Theatre, and he has been steadily increasing the size of the venues he performs in since his first Motor City concert in 2016.
The inclusion of Jelly Roll as a support act has been a long time coming. "I hope one day we come back and get to do it at Ford Field, baby," Jelly Roll expressed at a previous show in Detroit, according to a Detroit News article. This tour marks Malone's first-ever stadium tour and highlights his versatility as an artist, transitioning from mumble rap to incorporating country influences into his music.
