Brett Embler, the Natural Resources and Parks Crew Supervisor, gives viewers an inside look at the daily work required to keep the complex in top shape, according to the City of Raleigh release.
Embler leads a small team of three full-time staff members who work hard each day to maintain the fields. Their tasks include leveling the playing surfaces, outlining the fields, and using specialized equipment to mow the outfields. “Our goal is to provide a top-notch experience for everyone who comes to Walnut Creek,” Embler said in the same release.
The video also highlights the challenges of managing sports facilities like Walnut Creek. Embler expresses satisfaction in seeing people enjoy the fields, whether it's a child playing for the first time or an adult returning for a league game, noting how rewarding it is to see them benefit from the facilities that have been carefully maintained.
