Redford Township police were called to a residence on the 15000 block of Delaware Avenue slightly before 12:30 a.m. yesterday, where they discovered a man, in his 30s, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound, as reported by audacy.
The situation was quickly responded to by the Redford Township Fire Department, providing treatment to the man before his transportation to Corewell Health Hospital in Farmington Hills. There, he was pronounced dead. The identity of the victim has been withheld, and not released to the public yet. According to a Detroit News release, the suspect was found on the scene and was taken into custody.
Authorities, reassuring the community, have labeled the incident as an "isolated incident," indicating no further threat to the public, as mentioned by CBS Detroit.
